How Is The Automotive Recycling Industry Shaping Up

Recycling Unwanted Automotives

With newer technologies, the automobile industry has evolved over the last few decades. Gone are the days when damaged, malfunctioning or out of use vehicles are just discarded. These days most vehicle parts can be recycled thus making it far easier to extend the longevity of auto parts. Prospective used car dealers may wonder how is the automotive recycling industry shaping up seeing that there are still so many new car dealers around and just as many places to get new auto parts. The auto recycling business still remains one of the most profitable businesses to venture in because of the high demand for products within this industry.

Scrapping

Automobiles today are made in such a way that it is easy to take it apart. Modern equipment allows cars to be scrapped no matter how damaged they are. Once taken apart, mechanics can easily identify parts that are in good condition or can be repaired. These are the parts that hold value. Prospective buyers will either buy an entire recycled automotive or they sometimes just need recycled part(s) Useless to Valuable Automobiles,

As with any other equipment or machinery, automotives need hundreds, maybe thousands of parts in order for it to work. Even though it might not be in excellent working condition, valuable parts that can easily be recycled still exist within its components. Recycling companies recognize that the average automobile owner would much rather replace a damaged vehicle part with a recycled part rather than to buy it new because it cost significantly less. In the same way, many customers are willing to save by buying recycled autos. Modern equipment allows for the industry to restore used or damaged parts to an almost new state. Some recycled parts can last just as long as new ones. These are the benefits that both consumer and automotive recycling companies have recognized. This demand contributes to the growth of the automotive recycling industry.

Two Way Benefit

The automotive recycling industry allows buyers to replace auto parts cheaply and allows the dealers to make a profit from a product that might have been previously discarded as damaged or deemed useless. The industry recognizes that damaged does not mean the “entire” vehicle is without use. The recycled car industry can be very profitable if one has the proper equipment, the right team of auto mechanics and the proper know how. The greatest advantage is that both customer and dealers benefit by saving.

Delivering High-performance Car Radio Designs At Low Cost With Digital Low-if Cmos Amfm Automotive

High-growth economies such as Brazil, Indonesia, India and China have an emerging middle class and rapidly growing automotive markets. The vehicle retail price in these markets must be relatively low, putting cost pressure on components in these vehicles. Additionally, automotive markets in developed economies such as the United States, European nations and Japan are also seeing an increased demand for cost-sensitive solutions after the global financial crisis that began in 2008.

Traditional technologies used in automotive AM/FM tuners are typically BiCMOS tuners with a 10.7 MHz IF tuner architecture. This technology/architecture delivers on radio reception performance, but the process and architecture are cost prohibitive for mixed-signal architectures where RF circuits are integrated with digital processing engines such as DSPs and microcontrollers in a monolithic circuit to deliver fully processed audio outputs.

Digital low-IF CMOS AM/FM receivers very much fit the bill due to the much lower cost points of CMOS foundries and the use of a digital low-IF tuner architecture. Digital low-IF AM/FM receivers have been in use in the handset and portable media player markets for a number of years.

RF Dynamic Range
In crowded FM spectrums that are very common in urban settings, the abundance of radio stations can overwhelm the radio receiver tuned to a desired station whose signal strength is relatively weak. The most severe and common non-linear distortion resulting from strong interferers is third order inter-modulation (IMD3) distortion resulting from two strong close-in blockers that show up on-channel on a weak desired station tuned to.

In many applications an external tracking filter is used on the front end of the receiver to attenuate the blockers. This technique, however, is costly in terms of components and PCB real estate. To minimize IMD3 distortion products, the dynamic range of the receiver front end must be adequate.

Selectivity and Dynamic Bandwidth Control
Selectivity refers to a tuner’s ability to receive a weak station in the presence of stronger stations at small frequency offsets. This is especially important for receivers in crowded FM spectrums in urban environments. An important performance requirement, especially for European markets where the channel spacing is 100 kHz for FM broadcast, is adjacent channel selectivity, which refers to suppression of signals 100kHz away from the tuned frequency and which is usually no better than 30dB in many tuners found in the low-cost category.

While 30 dB selectivity performance may be adequate for many field conditions, there are many situations in the world in which a listener is tuned to a station broadcast from a distant location while driving past towers broadcasting multiple stations in the local region. In this scenario, much higher selectivity is required.

Sensitivity
Sensitivity refers to a tuners ability to pull in weak stations. If you live in a rural area away from the transmitters of most radio stations, the sensitivity of a tuner will be of great importance. With current car radios, the performance requirements are typically microvolt level sensitivity, allowing the car radio to pull in an extremely weak signal and extending its ability to tune into a station dozens of miles away.

Alternative frequency (AF) Check
In Europe, alternative frequency (AF) technology is an optimal choice that allows the car radio tuner to tune to a different frequency that provides the same station when the first signal becomes too weak when moving out of range. This technology is often used in European car radio systems, enabled by radio data system (RDS) technology where the AF list is transmitted via RDS data.

In summary, continuing cost pressures in the global automotive market are driving the development and deployment of highly integrated and innovative CMOS radio receiver IC solutions that will provide significant cost savings in transitioning from traditional architectures and analog-centric semiconductor processes typically employed for car radio tuners.

Automotive Translation Services

Automobile manufacturers sell their products and its accessories globally. Presales and post sales teams carry information to their customers. These information is commonly available only in one language. When the manufacturer decides to sell his car globally they have to translate the information using a professional translation company or otherwise using a translation service provider in the local language. For e.g in India if a car manufacture decides to sell his car, then he needs to translate pre sale information and post sale information in to 14 languages. Information translated into local language helps buyers to decide and know more about the car better. So translation services help car manufacturers to sell cars in any international market comfortably.

In a given scenario, company do user guide translation, manual translation, accessory manual translation, assembly document translation, OEM manual translation, electrical wiring diagram translation, etc.

Car companies from Germany will typically use translation service providers to translate documents and manuals from German to English translation , German technical translation is a very specialized translation services area.

Using a translator to do automobile translation?
Typically translation companies or translation service providers use native speakers to do automobile translation. In addition to it some companies use domain experts to perform translation services. People with automobile background or working in automobile related industry with translation experience will be asked to perform translation services. This ensure accurate translation. Such professional translation services are required when an automobile is launched in another country speaking different language. Language services are vital for each and every company into the automobile business.

An automobile manufacturer can do the following before selecting a translation company? Or a translation agency?
What type of formatting do the translation service offer? Is it words, excel, PDF? Does it meet your criteria?
In translation, accuracy is everything. Loss of it can result in embarrassment and loss of professional reputation. So, before signing contract with particular translation service you need to go through its previous work
You should inquire whether particular translation service has qualified team off professional translators or not? The translator also needs to be familiar with the grammar rules in languages, the idioms, and their writing conventions.
No matter which translation service company you are considering to hire, their proofing and editing policies should a factor into your decision.
What measures do the translation service opt to keep your documents confidential? Will translation service is ready to sign an NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement), if necessary?
Do they use native translators to do your translation?
Do they use domain experts to perform your translation? Say for e.g an automobile translation requires a automotive professional. Medical translation requires medical professionals?
Are they an ISO 9001 certified translation Agency? Or an EN 15038 certified Translation Company?
If the above check list is performed before selecting a translation company, the auto manufacturer will continue to get professional translation services.
